The Earth Revolves

The earth revolves, the stars align, and yet this heart is still confined.

Each day repeats a quiet song,

A rhythm right, yet somehow wrong. The winds sweep past, the rivers glide, while loss and longing swell inside.

I watch the seasons turn and bend, and wonder where the moments end.

The sky ignites with morning fire, yet shadows cling, they do not tire.

The ground beneath, both soft and cold, holds all the stories left untold.

Yet in the spin, a subtle grace,

A pulse, a heartbeat, time’s embrace. Though sorrow lingers, deep and vast, the world moves forward, free at last.

And I, like earth, will find my pace, accept the dark, the light, the space.

Through grief, through love, through endless days, I turn, I breathe, I live, I stay.
