I reach my hand, but it slips by, a fleeting wish against the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its string a thread I cannot hold, a story lost, a dream grown cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It mirrors all I could not say, the things I kept, then gave away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A childhood laugh, a vanished street, the pulse of hope I could not keep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet in its flight, a quiet thrill,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A stubborn spark, a stubborn will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The world may take, the wind may steal, but beauty dances, sharp and real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So let it float, and let it rise,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A crimson dot where sorrow lies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The red balloon, both mine and free, a tender grief that follows me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A red balloon drifts past my view, its color bright against the blue.
